Paowalla, is a new restaurant of renowned Chef Floyd Cardoz which opened its doors at 195 Spring St and Sullivan St, NYC in July 2016.
"Paowalla" (named after Mumbai's bread vendors) brings to New York some of the flavors remembered from the much beloved Tabla restaurant, updated with what Cardoz has learned with time and from his travels.
Designed by Joe Calabrese, the space capitalizes among others on the wood-fired oven in the dining room for grilling spiced meat and baking traditional Indian breads.
Aerial Design and Build were the general contractors who have built this this beautiful and innovative restaurant.
