Nina Nathel
Senior Project Manager
Nina Nathel began her career at an ornamental metal shop in New Jersey. She gained firsthand experience working alongside fabricators and designers to bring concepts to life and has a strong command of materials which can be very useful in finding ways to value engineer without sacrificing on design intent. Her experience in the shop lead her into construction project management where she has worked on various hospitality-based projects in New York City and beyond.
During a brief hiatus from the field, Nina worked as the Director of Operations for a coffee business where she oversaw the buildout of a roastery in Brooklyn. In this role she coordinated with the DOB, DOH and Department of Agriculture to secure permits and assist the architects and designers in moving the project forward. She became OSHA certified and even carries a fork lift training license and certificate of fitness to operate compressed air and non-flammable gases.
Nina holds a BA in Communications from Manhattan College and has furthered her education by taking drafting courses at Pratt Institute. Her approach to life is to try before assuming you can’t. This is something she carries with her at work and at home. She lives an active lifestyle running, biking, paddle boarding and snowboarding. She enjoys cooking for her family and hopes to pass on her passion for animals and adventure to her son.
